WHITE COUNTY, GA (2/23/2020) — Ten people were injured in an accident involving three vehicles on Sunday.
According to Georgia State Patrol, 30-year-old Heather Morgan was following a 2004 Kia Sedona on SR 11. Morgan hit the Kia from behind, causing it to crash into a 2006 Toyota Tundra, which was stopped to make a left turn. Morgan and four of her passengers were taken to an area hospital.
The driver of the Kia, 32-year-old Samantha Loggins, sustained minor injuries. Two of her passengers were also injured and transported to an area hospital.
In addition, the Toyota driver, 53-year-old Gary Olsen, and his passenger both suffered minor injuries but were assessed and released by emergency medical personnel.
The investigation of the crash is currently ongoing, and charges against Morgan are pending.
