COBB COUNTY, GA (5/20/2020) – A woman is being charged with aggravated assault and murder after admitting that she intentionally crashed into the back of a car on Monday night, killing the driver. The crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Dallas Highway.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, 20-year-old Cikira Faison was heading south on Barrett Parkway in a green 2006 Volkswagen Beetle when she intentionally crashed into the back of a 2002 Saturn SC1, which was stopped at the light.
The driver of the Saturn, 58-year-old Frank Thompson, was critically injured and later died at the scene. Faison was not injured in the crash and was taken into custody. Police booked Faison into the Cobb County Jail where she is being held without bond.
